DIN 6799

DIN 6799

Side retention rings, are distinguished by their easy side mounting, unlike the rest of the safety rings or retaining washers that are placed at one end of the shaft, where in many cases is not possible or desirable, or because the shaft is fastened at one or both ends or by having to move the ring over a considerable length on the axis, with the consequent danger of the ring's deformation since the maximum allowable opening limit of this is slightly greater than the shaft's diameter. On the other hand, with regards to the safety seals, it is enough to press them in front of the slot so that it is situated.
