BICOMPONENTES

Chemical

Bi-components

Our two component epoxy adhesives offer a large number of solutions due to their high resistance to physical and chemical agents. They also ensure a high resistance to temperature and good adhesion to metals, wood and plastic. Of course, once cured they can be sanded, milled, drilled and painted.

Epoxy resin bi-component adhesives have a highly reactive chemical bond. After mixing, the adhesive achieves extraordinary strength. They maintain a flexible consistency and, therefore, can guarantee effective behavior against shocks and vibrations.

The Structural Adhesives are designed specifically to support loads greater than the adherent's weight. That is, the ability to withstand both dynamic and static large loads in addition to offering great resistance to cutting and fatigue as well as environmental exposure, high temperatures and corrosion. Normally, they are used to bond small surfaces, rigid parts, plastics, metals, elastomers and other materials in which the adhesive is required to be part of the to be glued substrate's structure, maintaining its rigidity and supporting the loads. They demonstrate their true potential of metal with metal's union without a doubt. There are three types: epoxies, urethanes and acrylics. One of structural adhesives' determining aspects is the fact that they establish a uniform distribution of the load by effectively eliminating the use of screws, rivets and welds.

Due to the extraordinary mechanical properties that these adhesives possess as well as the ease of application and absence of waiting for them to be cured; the Acrylic Adhesives are used for the realization of all types of adhesive joints including structural joints. Solvent-based acrylics are acrylic polymer solutions in organic solvent mixtures. These solutions contain chemical solutions that polymerize or convert the polymers at the same time that the solvent volatilizes.

A range of high-performance, two-component products are the Polyurethane Adhesives. These can be elastic adhesives or rigid adhesives, depending on the structure, elastomer or thermoset, which the adhesive acquires once it has solidified or cured. Our Plastic Repairer would be an example of the elastics' quality.
